McAvoy and Beardsmore are a Sheffield-based independent retail jewellery shop and workshop, and were our first clients way back in 2001. So it's with great pleasure that they invited us back to carry out a major redesign and expansion in 2007.
They wanted a fresh new design, so we created fully original artwork drawing from the Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts movements, which inspires some of their orginal jewellery work.
They also wanted the ability to create and edit their own web pages, and the possibility of creating an online catalogue in the future. To meet this, we built the site with the Drupal content management system.
We will be working closely with McAvoy and Beardsmore in the run-up to their busy Christmas season, in order to showcase some of their current work via their new website.
